Be blessed

So we began with this…………………………

released 20 March 2020 ........... there have been a lot of versions made since then, but this is my favourite because one of our sons and his wife sing on it........ and I can hear his voice all through the track..... why? because I am his Mother....... and there’s that magic of how a Mum can hear their own child's voice in a hospital nursery among all the other babies...... and it reminds me that God as our Father/Mother can always hear our cry...... what ever situation we find ourselves in or have been through...... remember we are not alone......... YOU are not alone……….

God is with you "in the morning, in the evening, in your coming and your

going, in your weeping and rejoicing, He is for you He is for you......... “

And over this whole season Storm charity/church has tried to be ‘there’ in whatever way we can, to in some small way or maybe many small ways demonstrate that “presence” and that “love”…… we have seen people come and people go, we have wept and we have rejoiced but through it all we have known that God is with us and that He is FOR US and He is FOR YOU.

There is a story in the bible about a woman badly treated and alone who thinks that she and her child will die in the desert and then God meets with her because "he heard her boy crying"....... and we read He "opened her eyes and she saw a well of water”.  The well had always been there, it was just that she could not see it……………

Whatever our situation there is hope, there is always hope, there is always a well, we just need to see it.......

So have a listen to the UK blessing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUtll3mNj5U)

You may not hear my boys' voice but you will be blessed...... if you can, play it loud and let it fill your room/home........... and as you do read these words written by a man at the other end of the bible who has seen a bit of life!

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

BUT we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;

Perplexed, but not in despair;

Persecuted but not abandoned;

We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the LIFE of Jesus may also be revealed....."

BE BLESSED TODAY
