Volunteer

Three times a week on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evening we collect and give away food to the homeless, lonely, insecurely housed and anyone who would benefit from it. If you would like to come and help sort the food that would be amazing.

Once a month on a Saturday and weekly on a Thursday afternoon, we garden on our town centre plots and the Storm allotment.

Once a month on a Saturday afternoon in the Autumn Term our Make n Munch craft group meets. We also get together weekly on a Monday afternoon when our daytime knitters and crocheters are always working on community projects.

Once a month on a Saturday afternoon we litter pick along the seafront and in the seafront parks.

If you would like to support the work of Storm we would greatly appreciate it and would be able to put your money to very good use. Everyone who gives their time to the work of Storm is a volunteer but we do of course have costs and expenses. Storm is currently leasing a property close to the heart of Worthing and also pays rent for the other lovely buildings we are priveleged to use for our children and youth work and our Sunday activities. If you would like to pledge to give regularly to our continuing community work, please email info@stormministries.org for a pledge and gift aid form.
